Don Eckles, along with his wife Linda, founded Scooter’s Coffee in 1998 in Bellevue, Nebraska. Since founding Scooter’s Coffee, Don has started, led and been directly involved in every facet of the business, including store operations, roasting and wholesale distribution, franchising, financial analysis, new business development, and execution of strategies.
After 25 years in the specialty coffee business, Don continues to lead Boundless Enterprises and the Scooter’s Coffee franchise system into the future. His vision includes growing nationally with a fundamental commitment to our core and proven drive-thru business model, in tandem with expansion of the wholesale coffee component of the company.
Jill A. Brown, Ph.D. is a Professor of Management at Bentley University. Her scholarly interests include corporate governance, ethics, corporate social responsibility, and strategic leadership. Brown’s work has been published in Organization Science, Journal of Business Ethics, and Business Ethics Quarterly to name a few. She is also co-author of the 10th edition of the textbook Business & Society: Ethics, Sustainability and Stakeholder Management with Archie Carroll (University of Georgia). Prior to her career in academia, Jill was a commercial banker and consultant.
